Anything like flyers, keychains, etc. Essentially — Go to a Race the day before the Cup event and walk the midway; tons of stuff. I walked away with quitte a bit when I went to Talladega in October 06. Everyone and anyone is out to promote their product on the midway. It's like going to a Convention and walking the Vendor Plaza; free stuff city.
I work for a non-profit and looking for some promotional items to purchase. I don't put much stock in this ever bringing us back lots of money, but need some things to hand out at the various events we attend. What are some of the affordable items in your opinion that will give me something to hand out and not kill my budget? Thanks,. Do you know what I found? T-Shirts are too expensive for budget conscious organizations and less effective for making a marketing impact. Pens are always a good choice, and you can get a lot of personalized pens for cheap. Here is a link for some cheap personalized pens: Halloween Trick or Treat Bags are good to give out for Halloween: Sports promotional products such as mini footballs and mini basketballs are good promotional items to giveaway when your budget is small:
I want to promote my graphic design company at an American Heart Association charity expo. What kind of promotional item should I be giving away? My budget is about $1 a piece. Any ideas. Do you know what I found? Hmm. . . You can give away pedometers on keychains. I know they sell them for about a dollar a piece but it will cost more if you are going to personalize it and I think you will have to since it is to promote your advertising company. Since its the American Heart Association, fitness items and things would be good. A creative keychain or a pen would be nice. The most creative promotional item I have ever seen would have to be a little box that was folded to look like a purse. It advertised a boutique and when you opened up the purse, inside was printed the boutique's info and it also held candy in it. It was really cute. Maybe you can design a little origami container that folds into a heart and when you open it, it displays your skills and company info. Make the graphics realistic too- like a 3-d heart model. That would be awesome and it would definately show that you can do graphics.
Does anyone know how much it COSTS to join PPAI??? Promotional Products Association International. Their site tells you nothing, their operators tell you nothing, their literature tells you nothing. It's all sort of "pay to apply and then if we want you we'll tell you the cost. " Um, no. I am hopeful that someone out there will know what it COSTS to join this organization. Yes, I have called on suppliers and distributors in the industry. Have called industry trade magazines and journalists, too. It is impossible to get a straight answer. Thanks so much. Well, I have your answer right here. PPAI's dues are on a sliding scale and based on member sales volume. Membership fees are public and published on the PPAI website at www. Ppa. Org. PRIDE is in June and the theme this year is "Cruising with Pride". If people can answer either with something I can throw out to the crowd during the parade or at our booth at the festival it would help. Our logo includes a pink triangle so it is suggestive as gay, so I don't know what product to put it on. Do most people like useful items like pencils, paper, keychains, tip cards, chip clips and stress balls? Fun items like bags, frizbees, plastic cups, and beach balls? Or practical items? Yes, I am leaning towards giving something useful at the festival and maybe throwing candy during the parade as well. T-shirts aren't in my budget as of now. Plus, this group is for LGBT peple in their 20's so I have to take in the fact that not all of them are OUT. So I need a product that is useful and hidable. Well, I have your answer right here. Condoms, to promote safe sex.
In preparing the affiliate marketing program, the online businessman must first find professional affiliates. One affiliate is not enough. Therefore, there should be a sizable number of affiliates that will create a significant impact on the sales of the online business. But once the affiliates have been recruited, the next important step for the online business is to provide his affiliates with promotional materials.
A promotional material is a feature in the website or Internet system that can be utilized by the affiliate to advertise and pre-sell the products of the online company. Without such promotional materials, the affiliate marketing will be slow or will come to a standstill. But one affiliate is different from another. Thus, the online businessman should be able to identify the type of promotional material that will meet the unique needs of the affiliates.
Here are some promotional materials that an online businessman should consider preparing for his affiliates. These promotional materials are quite basic and the online businessman may try other methods that are less conventional and more revolutionary. In the meantime, these are great for any affiliate marketing program on its first steps.
1. Effective email ads – This type of promotional material is ideal for affiliates who have e-zines or newsletters that they send their consumer/visitor base. In fact, most professional affiliates have their own newsletters.
Therefore, a shrewd online businessman must place email advertisements that will be included in the newsletters. He should create several email ads with varying lengths. Some affiliates like these ads to be short, while others prefer longer email ads.
In writing email ads, the online businessman should remember to use animated words that trigger emotional responses from the readers. The reason for this is that, buying is mostly an emotional action.
2. Signature Files – This type of promotional material is sought by some affiliates who have signature lines. Thus, the online businessman must submit several clever lines to his affiliates. When the affiliate finds a signature file that he likes, he will include it in his own signature line.
3. Articles – This type of promotional material is needed by affiliates who want good content in their websites, and even in their newsletters. The online businessman should have good articles that can be posted in the affiliates’ websites. Such good articles can also help the website’s ranking in search engines
4. Banners – This type of promotional material may not be the most effective, but it can still attract visitors. The online businessman must be ready with his banners that will fit into various parts of the website, such as the toolbar, the sidebar, the top, and the bottom.
5. Product Images – This type of promotional material is attractive to affiliates who want to display the images of the products that they are promoting.

I am trying to find a supplier of such things as blank keyrings, coasters, fridge magnets, mousemats and other promo/advertising products for printing. Well, I have your answer. will allow you to buy blank media. They also will let you design it, and make a commission from selling it on their site, although they do all of the actual printing. Another place to try is but I am unsure of what all they have to offer. I use their free business cards, and magnets, but that is about all I know of them. Hope this helps
I am co-owner of a small bar in Kentucky and am looking to advertise better with some sort of custom promotional items but not sure what yet. . Any ideas. Basically… We have found when our bar girls/guys wear custom sweatbands and throw them out that it works very well as a custom promotional item. The crowd gets very into it and loves it, and just like that we have people wearing a sweatband with our bars logo on it. Hope this helps.
