Anything like flyers, keychains, etc. Essentially — Go to a Race the day before the Cup event and walk the midway; tons of stuff. I walked away with quitte a bit when I went to Talladega in October 06. Everyone and anyone is out to promote their product on the midway. It's like going to a Convention and walking the Vendor Plaza; free stuff city.

I want to promote my graphic design company at an American Heart Association charity expo. What kind of promotional item should I be giving away? My budget is about $1 a piece. Any ideas. I know they sell them for about a dollar a piece but it will cost more if you are going to personalize it and I think you will have to since it is to promote your advertising company. Since its the American Heart Association, fitness items and things would be good. A creative keychain or a pen would be nice. The most creative promotional item I have ever seen would have to be a little box that was folded to look like a purse. It advertised a boutique and when you opened up the purse, inside was printed the boutique's info and it also held candy in it. It was really cute. Maybe you can design a little origami container that folds into a heart and when you open it, it displays your skills and company info. Make the graphics realistic too- like a 3-d heart model. That would be awesome and it would definately show that you can do graphics.

Does anyone know how much it COSTS to join PPAI??? Promotional Products Association International. Their site tells you nothing, their operators tell you nothing, their literature tells you nothing. PRIDE is in June and the theme this year is "Cruising with Pride". If people can answer either with something I can throw out to the crowd during the parade or at our booth at the festival it would help. Our logo includes a pink triangle so it is suggestive as gay, so I don't know what product to put it on. I am trying to find a supplier of such things as blank keyrings,coasters,fridge magnets,mousemats and other promo/advertising products for printing. Well, I have your answer. will allow you to buy blank media. They also will let you design it, and make a commission from selling it on their site, although they do all of the actual printing. I am co-owner of a small bar in Kentucky and am looking to advertise better with some sort of custom promotional items but not sure what yet. . Any ideas. Basically… We have found when our bar girls/guys wear custom sweatbands and throw them out that it works very well as a custom promotional item. The crowd gets very into it and loves it, and just like that we have people wearing a sweatband with our bars logo on it. Hope this helps.
